There is beauty in being content with simply who you are, not needing to lie or bolster what isn’t there.  Thomas Á Kempis shares this,

“The man who has a clean conscience rests easily content, and is at peace.  You are none the holier for being praised, and none the worse for being blamed.  You remain what you are.”

Beloved Grandson, Joel Mason, Katie too.

We are content with these “Herbs of Grace.” Thank you!!

Thomas Á Kempis-With you, always reflecting our Christ.

Contentment. When your father was a child and I was your age I was plodding through my Nestle’s Greek Testament. “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” Contentment — autarkeia. I loved this meaning, “independent of circumstances.” (cf. Phil. 4:11, 1 Tim.6:6).

We’re more than content with you and Katie!

With love from your grandfather and grandmother,

    James and Norma Mason
